CIF Polls & Rankings- Week 6

There was some movement among last week’s four ranked teams in the CIF-SS Cross Country Polls. The Claremont boys, despite a dominating Sierra League run, fell from 1st to 3rd in Div. This weekend will be somewhat quiet, sandwiched between a week filled with cluster meets and next weekend’s Mt.SAC Invitational.

Montview #2: Sierra Vista Keeps Rolling, Azusa Moves Up

The eight team Montview League returned on Thursday to Schabarum Park for their second of four meets over a rolling 3 mile course, one that is less severe than the course used by the Valle Vista League.

Hacienda #2: Rowland & Bonita Once More

Valle Vista #2: Covina Doubles Up (Again)

The newly constituted Valle Vista league moved on Wednesday to Schabarum Park in Hacienda Heights, a tough hilly course that coaches say is about 30 seconds slower for the boys than Mt.SAC.

Meet Vianca Holguin
